Common Swift: Kittidown and Higher Moors, St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly 14th May 2010
A number of Swifts were feeding low over the path that leads up from the road by Higher Moors to Kittidown and I spent a fair amount of time photographing, or at least trying to, them. At times they were just to close and fast, often only banking away at the very last minute leaving a 'whoosh' as they swept past, super. Swifts are absolutely one of my most favorite birds in the world so apologies for the extended set of following images.
