Not the best pic possible of this stunning bird though it is an early digiscoping attempt way back from 1st April 2002, this great bird spent several weeks around Scarborough in Yorkshire.

Ross's Gull - Rhodostethia rosea

This stunner was at Rapidole Lake, Weymouth, Dorset on 25th February and these images demonstrate the real small and delicate nature of the species. Extremely pale grey and white, long wings and narrow wedged tail off set by a small delicate black bill and large dark eye. Stunning
