After missing autumn and spring Red-rumped Swallows on the islands in the past it was with great relief I could add these birds to my Scillies list. One was initially seen for a mere 5-10 seconds over Porth Hellick Pool before two were seen at Mt. Todden Farm. Two were then seen on&off over either Porth Hellick Pool, the Pumping Station or Kittidown where they often showed very well just over our heads.
