What a belting bird. I found this female Red-footed Falcon whilst out at Vange photographing a pair of Black-winged Stilts. It went on to perform for the crowds the rest of the day and the following morning before departing to the south. I relocated it briefly sat on the shrike' bush at Bowers Marsh later in the afternoon before it apparently returned to Vange. One of my UK birding highlights without doubt.

It was pretty difficult to get photo's of as there was a near undetectable heat shimmer that threw out a lot of images whilst mostly grey skies mean low light but I think I've done alright; image overload of this bird
