Found on bushes around Don's Marsh, another in the trend of birds turning up in the western end of the area. Rapidly failing evening light didn't help the situation of getting images of the bird. The first four images taken in the evening of 31st August.

Red-backed Shrike - Bowers Marsh, August & September 2013
I just had to do an extended set of this tremendously entertaining bird. The light on 1st September was again challenging with some exposure tweaking being done big time to get decent shots, please with the out come.
I had even more of this fabulous bird in the evening of the 4th September when the light was just perfect. Truly superb bird.
