Chaffinch, Minsmere RSPB Reserve, Suffolk 25th April 2009
Many Chaffinches visited the feeders by the reserve visitor centre with the feeders out the front beneath the car park having the better photographic opportunities.

Bramblings are superb birds, a mix of orange and blacks, can there be any better combination? These were part of a flock of around 30 or so in the thistles near Shirva.

Another good autumn on Fair Isle in 2014 for this species with fairly sizeable flocks roaming the southern end of the isle, a flock was for a while semi-resident around the Upper Leogh and Taft area due to seed put out for them.

I Fair Isle tick 'Northern' Bullie last autumn and wasn't expecting to get another the following spring. This female was initially found at the Obs before moving to Schoolton where it seemed to favour. Geat Bird.
