Lava Gull - Larus fuliginosus
Second-years
Considered the rarest gull in the World with probably only 300 pairs. This species is totally restricted to the Galapagos so along with Swallow-tailed Gull the islands are a must visit destination for gull nuts like myself. Here the plumage is clearly not that of an adult but or juvenile/first-winter, fitting that of second-year birds.
