Only my 3rd tick of the year, following Caspian Stonechat and Siberian Rubythroat. This bird was outside of my self imposed twitch radius of just 3 hours drive from home but as it seemed an easier enough drive I and Paul decided to give a go. We arrived a little after 1pm on the Saturday and stayed with the bird for an hour and a half. Despite it staying in just one smallish Sycamore it could be elusive as it had a habit of sitting still for many minutes at a time. As I was there all day my pics of this 3rd for Britain will not be as good as some who spent all day, or even day's there but at least you get the idea of the bird. A cracker it was too.
