This first-winter Isabelline Shrike in Kent was to close to not make a visit. The bird proved to  approachable and often confiding but ranged widely across the 'desert'. It showed characters strongly suggestive of Daurian Shrike. This is now the second Isabelline Shrike I have seen in the Desert at Dunge, the other being a Turkestan Shrilke on 30th September 2001.
